**Objectives:** 2.1 The objects for which the company is established are to support the development and effective use of workforce skills to provide services for the public good through: 2.1.1 preserving and protecting good health. 2.1.2 the sound administration of the law. 2.1 .3 the efficiency of the police, the armed forces of the Crown and the fire and rescue services. 2.1.4 Financial Services. and 2.1 .5 the efficient public administration of government and public service and the strategic development of the Health Service workforce. 2.2 In particular but not exclusively by: 2.2.1 advancing the education, training and skills of existing and future workforces in those sectors. 2.2.2 researching, analysing and interpreting the operational requirements of the relevant sector workforces. 2.2.3 setting nationally recognised competencies for job specific training and awards to create an effective workforce in the above sectors. 2.2.4 analysing and interpreting the operational requirements in the workforces of the above sectors to define role profiles expressed in the terms of the applicable national occupation standards or other industry standards. 2.2 .5 creating competency frameworks for a sector, through job analysis and mapping existing education and training, identifying gaps and inconsistencies. 2.2.6 the creation of qualifications and other forms of accreditation that recognise the attainment of competent practice. and 2.2.7 the identification, design and recognition of continuing professional development that ensures sector employees are able to maintain and demonstrate competence on an on-going basis.
