I helped to affirm our wesence in the cornmunity and contribute to band furKIs Practice contsnued at Haddington Joint Carnpus Primary School, provkying g¢x)d indoor arKI outdoor facilities for the band. Once again, our annual calendar provided additional fun¢Js as wè11 as promoting the band and our wder community. The band trustees conts'nued to meet on a regular Month￿ basis via Zoom. Our events committee ra15ed further funds and engagement wth mernbers and the wder ¢ornmunity through social evenings and regular market stalls for calendar selling and raffles. A few more learrers lyoung and aduhl graduated to lull playing members making for good roster numbers and the ability to offèr a suitable band size for events. Wè ￿an lo have a further intake ol learners to maintain the roster. More expenditure on uniforms and instruments is thèralore èxpeLtad. Based on current band fLJnds this looks achievable, and we expect this to be topped up in the fvture with current pertormance bookn"ngs. Our major expendrture in this period was our trip to perform at the Fete Franco-Ecosse in our twn town ol Aubuny-sur-Nere, France in July 2025. A large part ol our ￿ndS was used for transportats.on of mèmbers and equipment, plus additional unift)tms. The trip proved to be 8 great success with 8n appetyte to retum in 2027. Overall, the band continues to b& in a haarthy position both financially and as an organisation. Our CO￿ actiwty of perforrning traditional piping and drumming Co￿.nUeS to recewe enthusiastic support from band members and the wider ¢ommunty.
