Objectives: The aim of the Seamen's Mission is, on the foundation of the Bible and the Creed of the Norwegian Church, to the work for the advancement of the Kingdom of God among Scandanavian Seamen in foreign ports. Work can also be carried on in the Norwegian Ports as long as this is not detrimental to the activity abroad This aim is to be pursued through the preaching of the Gospel by Ministers and Laymen, by the founding of Seamen's Churches and Reading Rooms, and Schools for Seamen.
