**What the charity does:** The charity was set up to promote and raise the profile of Botanical Art in Scotland. This is done through organising painting days, workshops and education sessions. An annual exhibition is also held to allow members to show their work to the general public.

**Objectives:** The Society?s objects are: (1) To advance education through the provision of a forum to share and disseminate knowledge and expertise in all aspects of botanical art in compliance with the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 section 7.2(b). (2) To advancement of the arts through encouragement of a high standard of botanical artistic achievement in compliance with the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 section 7.2(g). (3) To advancement of heritage, culture or science through provision of a platform for the exhibition of botanical art in Scotland in compliance with the Charities and Trustee (Scotland) Act 2005 section 7.2(g). (4) To advance the arts by improving the accessibility of all forms of botanical art to the general public in Scotland.
