## Activities

**Activities:** 'It carries out activities or services itself'

**Purposes:** 'the prevention or relief of poverty','the advancement of education','the advancement of citizenship or community development'

**What the charity does:** The organisation is here to help people who have been pushed to the side to find their feet again. It supports physical and mental wellbeing by building confidence, improving personal health and hygiene and reducing anxiety, especially for those who struggle to find work or training because of addiction, mental health challenges, or a past criminal record. It also helps people learn practical, job-ready skills by working with local agencies and community groups, making training and employment feel possible again. Beyond this, it encourages people to reconnect with support services and get involved in their communities through volunteering, so they can feel valued, useful and part of something positive. We run skills based activities which include gardening, woodwork and art and craft.

**Objectives:** The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 To prevent or relieve poverty by providing practical opportunities to skill people who have been disenfranchised from society by unemployment, particularly those affected by addiction, mental health issues or a criminal record so that they may develop core skills required for the work place. 4.2 To advance education and learning by delivering work-related skills with other agencies and in the community for those who find it difficult to access training or work due to addictions, low self-esteem or a criminal record by the provision of training in skills to assist in obtaining employment. 4.3 To advance citizenship and community development by supporting those who find themselves socially and economically excluded and assisting them to reconnect with appropriate agencies and participate in their community through volunteering.
