efficient use of energy (including enefgy for heating purposes) among
persons who are in necessitous circumstances including (without
prejudice to the generality of the foregoingl those in such circumstance5
who are elderly, or whose housinE conditions are unsatisfactory to
advance public education about all aspects of energy conservation and
the efficient use of energy. To relieve poverty through the co-ordination,
delivery, support of projects and services which address fuel poverty and
its associated conditions and symptoms. 6.2 The promotion of equality
and diversity- To eliminate all forms of policy that seeks to encourage and
promo e discrimination through the right advocacy and campaigning for
social justice through education and public enlightenment. 6.3 The
advancement of citizenship or community developmerTrt by promoting
and proactively encouraging the development of young people assets
(both tangible and intangible), and to seek to transform derelict
propertie5/space through community partnership to good use (to give it
back a purpose for all local people to enjoyl for the benefit of the
community.

Achievements and performance

Summary of the tnain achievements of Community A55et Project is registered Scottish Charitable Incorporated
the charity during the financial period
Organization with registration number SC045758. The organization was
founded in 2015 to provide a range of projects in communities which
promote social inclusion, cohesion, diversity, and regeneration. Our
project community are members of the PALOPS, the Paises Africanos de
Lingua Oficial Portuguesa lor African Countries with Portuguese as
Official Langua8el of the Cape Verdean, Angolan and Mozambican people
resident in Glasgow. Our organization was specifically created to help the
vulnerable members of the community to help them deal with the impact
of poverty and to help shape local policies. We are an anti-poverty
organisation and that communities we work with suffers from a range of
social, economic and health problems. unemploymerTrt is hiEh. poverty is
common, housing conditions are relatively poor, associated ill health is
apparent, educational performance and acce55 to further education is
low, drug misuses are fuelling criminality and community safety is a
significant issue.
We deliver projects covering four strands..
al Stronger Communities
projects designed to bring people together
and build links within communities.
bl All Well & Good - promoting wellbeing, raising aspirations and self-
esteem to help people to have more control over their lives and live
independently
cl Youth and Diversity- bringing together young people and BAME
groups, especially African & Caribbean groups.
dl You Live and Learn- practical training in the arts, often linked to other
themes, such as erbterprise skills to show participants how to run a
financially successful and sustainable arts project.
Our project activities include Gardening, Financial Inclusion, Heritage &
Digital Projects, Mini-Food banks, and social enterprise project.
We have supported over 309 young people and 194 adults mainly from
the target community indicated.
