**What the charity does:** Strange Town is an Edinburgh-based company that uses theatre and the arts as a creative catalyst to nurture talent and increase access to opportunities in the arts for children and young people.  Strange Town creates exciting, challenging and vital work that gives a voice to the people it works with. Strange Town is recognised for developing talent, providing progression routes for children, young people and artists at different ages and stages of careers.

**Objectives:** 2.1 The Company's objects are: 2.1.1 to develop the theatre skills of children and young adults of all backgrounds. 2.1.2 to provide a socially inclusive environment within which the children and young adults are able to learn and grow. 2.1.3 to provide children and young adults with facilities, training, education, mentoring, development and encouragement. to offer a pathway into the arts as a career. 2.1.4 to bridge the gap between children's/youth theatre and drama school. 2.1.5 to develop interpersonal and personal skills for use within the community. and 2.1.6 to advance and promote the arts for children and within the young adult community.
