The boat house. FQrticularly its training spacc. continue8 to dcmonstral¢ how valu&ble an asset it is to the Club
wilh group sessiuns providilig a fiiendly 2nd welcoming atniosphere no mattff the I￿¢] of rowing ability or
ambition you have. The levels of con]mittnent to trdining continue to be impressiifte and Again demc)i)8trat&l in
the perfom)anc£s of all athlete& Along with the canal, Strathclyde Park and the ￿lliSatiOn of th¢ facilitivs at Tdy

acwrdawe with the Financial Reporting Standard5 applicatAe in the UK and Republic of Ireland
(FRS1021 issued on 16 July 2019 and the Financial Reporting Stsndaré applicat￿e in the UK and
Republ￿ of Ireland IFRS1021, the Charties and Trustee Investmtrnl IS¢olland) Act 2005 and the
Charits'es accounis {Scottand} Regulalions 2CKJ6 las amendedl.
The charity is a Public Benef￿ Enlily as definod by FRS 102.
Funds
Funds are dasS[fi￿ as either rostrfded funds or unrestricted fur#Js, defined as follows:
Restricted funds are funds subjecl to specific requirements as lo their use which may be declared by
th8 donor or with their aulhority or created tFYough legal F¥ocesses. but Still wthin the wider objects of
the charity.
Unrestricted funds are expendable al the diserelion of the Iruslees in furtherance of the obj8cls of the
charity. If parts of the unrestrlcted funds are earmarked at the dis¢xelion of the 1rustees for a particular
purpose, they are designaled as 8 separate fund. This designat￿n has an adminislralive purpose t)nly
and does not legalty restrirt the Irustees, dISc￿￿On to apply the fund.
Transfer8 between ftjnds are made on the aullv)rfty of the trustoes.
Incoming r&8ources
Income is recognised when the charity has enlltlemenl to the funds, any performance conditions
allached lo the item(8} of income have been met, it probable that th8 income wlll be received a
the afllounl can be measureé reliably.
Resource8 expended
Al expenditure is included on an ￿￿valS basis and is recfrgnised when there is a legal or constructive
obligation lo pay for expenditure. All costs have been directly attributed to one of the lunclional
categories of resources expended on the SOFA. Th& Charlty Is not re9isiered fDr VAT and
accordingly expenditure is shown grosts of 1rrecovera￿e VAT.
Al tangible flxed assets cos1ing in excess of £1,000 having a value lo the charity greater Ihan one year
are ¢apilalised at cost. Depreciation is provided on a slraighl-line basis lo ￿rte off the ￿st or initial
value, less ￿SIdUa value, of tangible fixed assets over Ihelr estimated useful lives..
