In 2015 OCT purchased the site and building known as The Rockfield Centrè from Argyll and Bute Council and

The boaTd have assessed the major rlsks lo which the charlty is exposed. and in partlcul8r those related to the
operations and fin8n¢e8 of Ihe Su¢iety, and are satisfied that systems 8re in place to mitigate exposure lo these
risks. Like many ch8ri118S, thar& is uncertainty around grant funding and the ability to support continual growth plan
development.
Communlty Shares
The Trusl mgy raise share capital lo pursue its 0￿eCtIveS for the benefit of the CO￿r￿UnIty. Any payment of Interest
on the share tspitsl should bè limited to the minimum necessary lo obtain the capilal required. The rai¢ of interest
must be declared in a¢Jvance of the periDd for which the interest is payable and the Board must be able lo jvslrfy the
r8le by referen¢¢ lo the available commercSal rates for borrobwng. Any payment of interest is treated 8s an expense
of the Trust btsfore calculation of any surplus.
Plans for future perlods
Wblh help from DTAS and InspirAlba, the Trust has developed a stralegic development plan covering the next 3
years. Thls dèvelopment plan t8k8s the trust from its current position to a position where we can afford to pay a full
roster of staft and support 0￿ratIonS without extem81 lunding within 3 yg8r8. but is reliant on adequate staffing In
the interim. Part funding150°/0l of the required roles has been secured. with the rest being actively sou9ht thmugh
various thanrnel$.
The Trust aims to continu9 to trade posilivèly, wlth 8 locug on income gongration from room hir*. ¢atering contraots,
and our carpark, whllsl supporting our Core community-focus5ed cultural activities and th* four therne5 underpinning
thern.. art and Cultu￿, heritage, educilion and enterprise, and community wellbeing.

The charity 18 gov8med by its constitution. The charity was constituted as a rompgny limited by guarantee until 2nd
