Objectives and activities Charitable purposes The relief of the needs of the speakers of Malayalam in North East Scotland who find themselves in necessitous circumstances. advancement of the arts. heritage and culture of Kerala and the advan￿ment of public participation in the traditional sports of Kerala. Summary of the main activities in relation to these objects MUSIC NIGHT AMA has organised it's the first stage programme after a long time on the ￿ ofJune 2023. We have organised a cultural music night for the members wth singers from out of Aberdeen and a few other programmes from our members. It was a very memorable evening delicious food and around 400 people in attendance. Everyone enjoyed the evening as it was after long time we have had the opportunty to come together as a group. ONAM CELEBRATION 2023 The stste festival of Kerala. Onam was celebrated traditionally th various programs and Onam Sadhya on the 0210912023 at Heathery bum School. Northfield. We had a good turnout of about 530 people including children. The celebration was very colorful a rich. Badminton toumaments, tug of war competitions and other culbjral activities were conducted during this period. AMA ANUUNAL GENERAL BODY MEETING - 2810112024 The AGM was held on the 28 of January 2024 at st. Clements Episcopal Hall at 4pm. The meeting was presided over by the president of the association. The annual report was presented by￿secretary) and the financial report was presented by ￿ (Treasurer). CHARITY APPEAL and MONTHLY GATHERINGS AMA has initiated a chanty appeal during this time. It is for . who an intemational student from India came here to study at Aberdeen university. She became critically ill and was admrtled to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary ever since she was in the UK and for her, we collected 2030.00 pounds. From July. the Association started a regular monthly gathering on the last Saturday of each month for our members to meet each other. We organized a big screen for the Cricket world cup final and IPL final. Many of our members gathered, induding children. CHRISTMAS NEW YEAR CELEBRATION 1310112024 The Chnstrnas New Year Celebration was held on the 13th of January 2024 at Ashdale hall, Westhill from 6.30pm. The celebration was based on the theme 'HEAL THE WORLD" The evening was rich wrth a wondertul opening programme wrth the theme presentation and nativity play, colorful dan￿s, beaLrtrful
