The Charity was registered in ils current legal form on the 2181 January 2015. It has a Iwo-lier structure
and as such the Trustees are the members of the charity.

At each Annual General Meeting IAGM) the members rrtay elect any member to serve as a Trustee for
a term ol three years. The Board may al any lime appoint any member lo be 8 Trustee until the next
AGM of the charity The maximu m number of Trustees is 9 and the minimum number is 3.

Charitable Purpose
The purpose of Ihe ch 3fily is.
l ) The p., ovision of Tecrealional facilities, or the organisatiori of recreational facilities, with the
primary obieclive of improving the conditions of life for the jersons for whom the facil',lies and
activities are prima¥ily inlended and who ,ive in the Fort Wil liam and surrounding areas.
2) The advanceTenl of education through developmepl of individuals skills. capabililies and
underslariding thfough informal educalion and learning opportunities.

increasing the iftvolvement of individuals in Ihe community activities and the promotion of civic

Actlvltles
Our 5e55ions rutt frorn 10 am to 2 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We regularly have 11
members allendir,g each day. A number of members also often atlend the local lunch club at Ihe C801
Cotr,munily Centre and Ouf annual Christmas lunch was held there,
Achiévemenls and Performance
We continue lo produce p13nlers and other useful wooden items. Two ol our membETS regLtlafly allend
Ihe local Repaii Café lo support local charity LAD.
In March two ol tty.e rnembers attended a SMSA meeting in Inverness and we donaled some powei
tools lo Ilie new Kinlochleven MS. In April, a group of the members visited the local British Aluminium
f3clory, which was very inloimalive and educational. In May one of our members passed the PAC
tester qualificalions and a grant of £500 allowed us to purchase our own PAC Tester so 851 our
electronic equipment is now fully tested and any items that are handed In for repair car, be certified as
PAC tested June. July and August were as usual quieter rrtonths, bul September saw 3 new members
and th ings back lo normal in the worfKshop, In November we started a kid's group on Salurday
mornings organised by one of our lady members. For our Christmas luncPt we soined the Caol
Community lunch club with membeTS and partners and enjoyed a very happy day In January 2025 we
celebrated our l Oil An4iversary with a lunch. once again at the Caol Commltnity lunch club and all our
members enjoyed a very happy celebratioll.
We have been very busy with the Jsual slrimmei, lawnmower and general electric motor repair5 anij
making planteis and benches. The donations from Ihese endeavours are our main stream of income,

lor their continued support of oui
activities and for Iheir donation towards ots,. aclivilies. •as been the person who has held our groilp
together with her enlhusiasm, gu idance and suppoil.
The Harley Davidson Club and the Veleran Motor Cycle Club continue to use the premises for Iheir
meetings.

Financial Review
Our lolal income for thè year was £6,624.52. Our lolal expendilure was £1 Q,519.28 resulling in a
deficil of £3,894.76.
Reserve Polity
The Trustees, policy is lo relain 3 months. worth ol normal runoing cosls In order to meet our
commilmenls and lo cover any unexpected expendilufe. Three months expendilure currently stands ai
£2,629.82 which Is cover by reserves held.
Plans for luture period
Our Members continue to enjoi many ioinl and individual pyoiects. from refurbishing a commemorative
bench al a Ioc31 cemelery lo buildirg more community planters an6 benches.
We 2re actively working 10 Feduce our Tent and other costs. We are looking lo develop OUT links with
local businesses and other charities in the area to find ways in which we can work 10gelher Iof the
benefil of Ihe whole community we are parl ol. Vle are also working to idenlily premises that will allow
us lo expand our activities and member numbers.
W8 are looking lo develop ties with other Men Sheds in our area and support the new sheds that are
trying lo start up.
We are hoping lo complete Ouf CAT appeal with the Highland Council who is our landlofd.
We are also hoping to complete an Awards lor All appeal durin9 the coming year, which would greatly
help with our ongoing cost5
