I report on the financial stslemenls of the 15th Argyll11st Muileachl Scout Group {"the Group") for the year
ended 31 December 2024 which are set out as attached.

The Group's Trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in aceordance wth the Charities
and Trustee Investment (Scollandl Act 2005 I'lhe ACV.) and the Charities Accounts Iscollandl Regulatitsns
20081"Ihe Regulations") The Group's Trustees consider that the audit rgquirement of Regulation 10{1 Ildl
does not apply. 11 is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under secb'on 4411 Ilcl of the Act
and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Ba81s of Independent Examlnefs Statement
My examination is carried out in accordance with the Regulations. An examination includes a review of the
accounting records kept by the Group and a comparison ol the accounts presented with the those records.
11 also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and Seeks explanab'ons
from the Trustees ¢oncerning any 8u¢h matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the
evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not express an audit opinion on the view
given by the accounts.

The purpose of The Scout Association is to promote the development of young people in a¢hieving their
full physical. intellectual, soci818nd spiritual potentrals, as indThiiduals, as responsible citizens and as
members of their local. national and intemalional commLFnitEs. The method of achieving the aim of the
Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractwe scheme of prcgresswe training, based on the
Scout Promise and Lw and guided by adult leadership.

Acuvltles & Achlevem•nts
During 2025, the hall continues to be used by many ￿gUlar groups, and the wnning of all Scouting and
Guiding groups using it. The use of the hall and sign up of children for the groups continues.
A good number of local groups have used the hall, for occasional meetsngs, children's parties, various
events and workshops. The committee are pleased with the uptake of use and en￿￿rage many groups to
use IL
Re8orv•s Pollcy
The Trustees believe that around
months of annual expenditure is an appropriate level of reserves
in order to cover the timing drfferen¢es befv￿￿ receipts and payments and to allow ft)r any unexpected
expendrture on hall mainlenance.
