Referen￿ and Administrative Information Charity Name Uplawmoor Development Trust SCIO Charlty Number SC045261 Current Trustees Strurture, Governance and Management Constitution Uplawmoor Development Trust is controlled by it5 governlng document, a deed of trust, formerly a company limited by guarantee. It was registered a5 a charity on 2 December 2014 and became a SCIO on 3 July 2017 Appointment of Trustees The appointment, removal, power and duties of the trustees are set out in the Constitution. At each AGM , the members may elect any member who agrees to serve, to be a trustee. In addition, the trustees may at any time appoint a non-member who will retire from office at each AGM but will be eligible for re-election. Objertives and artivitles The primary objectives of the Uplawmoor Development Trust hre to improve the local environment, improve local services and amenties, particulary in the provision of facilitles for improving the health and wellbeing of the community. and to promote and support economic activity. This ha5 been achieved by- forming groups of villagers interested in taking forward particular projects lie pathways, playparkl,. meeting with and polling the community on topics levant to all to a55e55 levels of interest,. raising funds towards project5 by applying to grant-awarding bodies and organlslng fundraising events of our own,. recruiting volunteers to help wlth physical work such 05 repairlng paths,. holdlng discussions with other local bodie5 with an interest in our area and our work i.e. East Renfrewshire Council, Uplawmoor CommLtnity Council: producing newsletters to inform the community of our work and to promote upcoming public meetings; and keeping alert to activity likely to have an impact on our local area.

A5 we do every year, some work was undertaken to improve existing paths around the village. Grants were given to local group5 involved in sports and wellbeing. Flnancial Review The trustee5 are continually carrying out a revlew of the charltles activities and the rlsks to which it is exposed. The trustees monitor progress of the charity at regular meeting5 when the management accounts are revlewed. The lon8 term operation of the Uplawmoor Development Trust is dependent on recelving granls from funding agencies and income from the Trust'5 50clal functions. The deflclt of £1,225 this year Ideficit £1,425 last yearl is as a result of the Trust's bl-annual fundralslng model. Independent Examiner's Report to the Trustees of Uplawmoor Development Trust SCIO SC045261 I report on the Accounts of the Charity for the year ended 30th November 2024 as sel out on the allached pages. Respective responslbllltles of the Trustees and th• Independent Examlner The charity's Iruslees are responsible for the prep8ration of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scollandl Act 2005 and the Charities Account5 (Scollandl Regulatsons 2006. The charity'5 Trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10111 Idl of the 2006 Regulations does not apply . It is my respon5ibliliy lo examine the accounts as required under section 44111 Icl of the Act and lo slate whether particular rnatters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examinerfs statement. My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the 2006 Regulations. An examination includes a review of the accoUn￿ng records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with these records. It also inclLJdes consideration of any unusual disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanation5 from the Iruslees concerning such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I do not exp￿$5 an audit opinion on the accounts. I have carried out such investigation5 as were necessary to enable me lo form an opinion a5 to whelher proper accounting records adequate for the purposes ol the Charity have been kept and the financial slalements of the Charity were in accordance with the accounting records. Independent examlner's statement In the course of my examination, no matter has come lo my attention 1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements.. to keep accounting records In accordance with section 4411} la} of the 2D05 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 AccoLJnt Regulations. and to prepare accounts which accord with the accountr'ng records and comply with Regulation 9 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations have not been met. 2.
