**What the charity does:** Our charity has always aimed to benefit the local community and promote citizenship through activity aimed at assisting people to deal with adversity.

**Objectives:** The organisation’s purposes are the advancement of education into the history, design, and operation of structures, buildings, plant and equipment connected with Kilmarnock railway station and other Railway Stations on the network and to preserve those artefacts, structures, buildings, plant and equipment that are of historic, cultural, architectural, constructional or scientific interest, or exhibit craftsmanship worthy of preservation.  The advancement of citizenship and community development by providing support for local charities, community groups and the wider voluntary sector.
