My examination was Carried out in ac¢ordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts
(Scollandl Regulations 2006 An examination includes a review of the accounting record5 kept by the
charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideratson
of any unusual rtems or disclosures in the accounts. and seeking explanations from you as trustees
concerning any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would
b6 required in an audit. and consequenlty I do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the
accounts.

Chair's Report
On behalf of SCATA I wish to thank our volunteers, trustees and co-ordinator for
their commitment and dedication. l especially wish to thank our volunteer drivers
for their unbelievable flexibility enabling SCATA to accept almost every request,
even those within the same day. The Servi￿ provided by SCATA is not just
transport but a lifeline lo some of our community. To quote one of our service
users. "l am so grateftjl for what SCATA provides. Without SCATA I would not be
able to live in the Strath..
Funding
SCATA receives 2 main sources of funding from Highland Council (Rural
Community Transport Grant) and SCBF. On behalf of SCATA I would like to thank
both of these organisations.
Purchased WAV
In late January 2025 SCATA, supported by SCBF, purchased a Peugeot Horizon
with wheelchaii aC￿ss. The vehicle was under 2 years old and have covered just
over 3,000 miles.

In February this year SCATA managed to resou￿ 51 tiips carrying 112
passengers and covering nearly 800 miles

Current Status
The diesel minibus failed in late January. The required engine repairs were
not economic given the value of the bus. The bus was sold as a non-
runner.
In September 2025 we came across an opportunity to apply for a grant for
an electric vehicle and charging point. With a significant amount of work
SCATAwas awarded a grant for an electric minibus and dual charging point
in November 2025, conditional to the vehicle being delivered by 31 March
2026.
Obtaining an electric minibus has been a roller coaster ride but the
suc￿Ssful outcome is that we have a new EV minibus parked in the
SCATA garage.
The installation of the dual charging point is near completion.
The dual charging point will be available for chargeable community I public
use. Payment solutions are currently being evaluated and we will take our
time to find the right solution. There will also be a 7kw charging point in the
garage. This comes free with the bus.
SCATA now has a WAV less than 3 years old and only just covered 10,000
miles, and a new Electric minibus.
SCATA continues to see increasing demand from the community and will
seek to maintain and grow our resources to support Ihis.
