CGLMC manages the golf courses at Carnoustie on behalf of Angus Council. CGLMC manages the day-to-day operations of the courses, invests in the courses to maintain their standards and allow them to host big events, manages access to the courses for Season Ticket Holders and visitors, supports local charities by awarding grants to local projects and promotes public participation in golf in the local area.
Objectives: 4. The objects for which the Company is established are:- 4.1 To encourage and promote public participation in the sport of golf in the area of Angus. 4.2 To promote the provision or development of recreational facilities in the Carnoustie area with the object of improving the recreational facilities or activities available to citizens residing within the Carnoustie area. 4.3 To promote the advancement of the arts, heritage, and culture for the benefit of citizens residing within the Carnoustie area. 4.4 To promote the advancement of community development for the benefit of citizens residing within the Carnoustie area. and 4.5 To promote the advancement of environmental protection or improvement.
