The Thurso Communty Sport Hub aims to increase public participation in sport and provKle recreational
facilities and activities to provide a platforn for all local sports clubs and appropriate partners to work together
for the benefit of developing sport for all sections of the community. It aims to support the development of
community based clubs, their coaches and volunteers where appropriate to support the development of
quality training and playing facilities, equipment and it's storage for it's members. To this end it plans to build a
400m running track and sports hall for the town and surrounding area.

These accounts have been prepared on the receipts and payments basis in the spreadsheets
provided by OSCR.
Nature and Pur
ose of Funds
The funds are to be used at the discretion of the trustees to further the objectives of the
charity.
The Thurso Community Sport Hub aims to develop sport for all sections of the community by;

The management committee normally meet once a month. Membership of the management
committee is open to all Hub members at the Annual general Meeting which is normally held in
April.
There are four sub-committees, each led by a member of the management committee, which
report to the management at their monthly meetings.

Charitable Pur

To provide a platform for all local sports clubs and appropriate partners to work together for
the benefit of developing sport for all sections of the community in the Thurso High School
catchment area.
To support the development of community based clubs, their coaches and volunteers.
Where appropriate to support the development of quality training and playing facilities,
equipment and storage for its members. To this end we hope to build a games hall and a 400m
running track.
Activities and Achievements
Run courses for clubs on child protection and GDPR training.
Run and event for children and their parents on Physical Preparation Sessions
Use our social media channels to promote events being held by members of the Hub.
