Achlevements and performanco
l am delighted lo write this report as 3 reflection of what was an exciting 8nd positive year in the life ol F81kirk
Vireyard Church. Whilsl we were presefjled wilh challenges across the year God has been faithful lo us. I have
captured some of the key highlights below.
The financial position of FVC was further strengthened by an increase in regular tithing and one-off gifts.
We also saw incredible financial provision wlth the creation of a property fund further setting us on the
road towards our own permanent Sunday venue.
2024 saw FVC take ils f*rst long term15 yearl lease on a property166 union road) creatlng an exciting
place for our Lave Falkirk food pantry, church off1ce and Space for ministry. The renovation proc8SS
started in lale 2024 and was lully funded by grant funding and the church property fund.
As a board we were delighted to create two new s18ff team roles 1 year FTC (Worship Pastor & Kids
and Family Paslorl. As a result, it ha5 bEell excitsng to see the gfowth and d8velopment in both
min151ri8s. We were also able to extend our Teaching Pastor and Senior Pastor FTC ft>r a further year.
We endèd th8 y8ar with a surplus which allowed us lo invest In new lechnology to ai¢Y kids si9n in and
safeguarding as wèll as a hegring loop system lor our Sunday sèrvic8S.
We have seen growth in Sunday services atterldance and a huge jump in Ihe children in FVKids each
week. Our Children's & Families Pastor has increased the number ol rooms we use for Kid's Church
with further plans for growlh.
Safeguarding w8s a key focus for the board in 2024 8nd 8s 8 ￿s￿1t we 8ppDinted both a ne
Saleguardlng Officer and Deputy Safeguarding Officer and also a trustee dedicated to overs8eing our
safeguarding. The team h8ve spent considerable lime le5ting and strengthening our saleguaiding
procedures-A massive thanks from me for the time spent by the team.
We also refreshed all our policies acr055 the yeaf lo ado furiher goveinance alld controls to ensu￿ oui
ongoing security aNd financial prudence.
Love Falkirk continued to expand our ministry in Falkirk providing c90QO meals across the year as well
as p¥oviding gifts and Christsnas dinner for 80 family's. We are very gratef￿1 to our grant funding partners
who have bought Into the vision w8 hav8 for Falkirk and have suppori8d us financially to h81p our
mission to bring families out ol poverty.
Whilst the Love Falkifk team were present&d with a challenge when our original lo¢ation lor the pantry
was clo58d al short noti￿, we saw incredible bl85sing by beino able lo buy a van lo provide a mobi
pantry.

Our Mainly Music Ministry 8ach week brings together parenlslguardians of around 25 Children 11> song
an(5 fun. It has been excellenl to See the support that mainly musi¢ is to 50 many families in 3 supportive
and loving environment.
Each year, FVC lilhe 15°/0 ol our Imcom8 to other Causes- this year we were d6lighted lo support Quiet
waters, LOVÈ the one. Go Youth Trust, and Polrnont Community Hub over and above our 5% lithe to
VCUKI.
11 has been 8n exciting year seeing God move across all areas of the chureh. A rnassive thanks to Ihe board ol
Trustees who operate with the integrity and rigour needed to maintain good governanc8 alongside supwrting the
V15ion for FVC.
Most of all, the gbry belongs to God who has SLtpported and sustained us in 23124 and l am excited to see how
FVC will continue lo minister to the people of Falkirk.

opportunily to secure a permarnenl Sunday venue. As a board our locus remains on supporting the vision of
F8lkirk vineyard church serving the people of Falkirk.

donalions from Ihe community and The National Loltery. 11 operates a pantry and garden lo h81p 5UPPOtI tha
local commLJnity with various events Ihroughoul the year.
Eden Ministries
F81kiTk Vlneyard Church is Ihe UK ambassador for Eden Mlnlstry and promotes the organisa￿'on through the
sale ol the jewellery made by survivois of human Iraffkklng and sexual exploitatk)n in Asia. The procoeds
from the sale of the items is all led back lo the organisation lo fund prograrnmes in the areas where the
lewellery is made.
Compasslon Mlnlstry
These funds relate to the previous compassion ministry which has now been extended to the Love Falkirk
project. A transfer of th8 r8maining funds took place during the prior year.
Premises Fund
These funds r61816 lo the ongoing refurbishment of th8 new Ullion Road piamises.
