APPENDIX 1 ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE- Summary of the main achievements of the charity during the financial period: The Developmenvcornrnunity Worker resigned at the end of July and to date, that post has not been filled. The following activities continued until he left, Food Faith and Fun, the monthly family informal church event. the small Scripture Union Group organised with pupils from Dalmilling Primary School,. The Men's Boxing Group and the Man Cave. After the worker left, an elder of the church, who was already working in the community took up the reins and, with the support of a group of dedicated volunteers, continued many of the existing activities and introduced some new ones. The Transform women's exercise group continues to meet weekly and is well attended by women. This group has encouraged the ladies to be more active. and push themselves out their comfort zone. The Teddy Bear Tots parent and carer group also continues to be well attended and provides a safe and welcoming environment to all our parents, carers and children, we ensure our group is structured with a free play, music time, crafts and a delicious healthy snack. The parents and carers are looked after with a warm roll and beverage each week. The Community Corner, which is run in conjunction with 'Vics in the Communty,, The group meets on a weekly basis and provides a nourishing lunch, companionship and activities. Local charities and 3rd sector organisations are invited and have supported members with many issues including benefits, pensions and energy saving advi￿. Wild Rhythm had a break over the summer but then resumed in September. This group provides a weekly music session for disabled people and their carers and is really well attended by people throughout Ayrshire. The group allows people with any sort of disability to come along and be themselves. Percussion instruments are provided which encourages the participant to express themselves through the power of music. North Ayr Thegither celebrated their 10th Anniversary throughout the year. The volunteers organised a free Fun Day on Easter Sunday this was attended by around 200 people from the local community, on the day the enjoyed free food, music, fa￿-painting, inflatables and a selfie mirror to capture the memories of the day. The project worker also organised a separate celebratory event before he left which was well attended by key members of third sector organisations, local families, and church members. During the summer a free Community Outing was arranged to Blair Drummond Safari Park and two buses were filled with local families who enjoyed a day out with a free packed lunch provided, 140 people were in attendance and we received wonderful feedback from all who attended on the day. A free Movie night was provided just before Christmas for families in the community, this was well attended and appreciated by the families who came along. Aftemoon Tea with the Grinch saw the church packed with families and their children in December, they enjoyed an afternoon tea of cakes, sandwiches and sausage rolls, a visit from the grinch, and a gift and a visit f￿M Santa.

Early in December, a free Christmas Lunch was provided for the people in the community, around ninety-five people enjoyed a lovely three course dinner, music, and games. Throughout the year various local people have been supported with vouchers to help with el costs in partnership with the Fuel Bank Foundation. We have worked closely with the local sheltered housing providing each resident with aftemoon tea boxes at Easter and boxes of biscuits at Christmas. Relationships have been strengthened with Ayr Academy, Dalmilling Primary School, and Chery Tree Nursery. Two volunteers from Ayr Academy assist every week with the Teddy Bear Tots and the Community Corner as part of the developing the young workforce. Throughout the year the volunteers have hosted many fayres including a Christmas and Summer, these are usually well attended and gives the volunteers a chance to engage with the community. Due to the community work being conducted the church won the National Churches Volunteer Award for Scotland- this was a massive achievement for all involved.
