Objectives: The Objects of the Charity are to relieve sickness and to preserve the health of persons living with Facial Palsy who are resident permanently or temporarily in the UK. 1.2.1 to improve the level of care and treatment of persons living with Facial Palsy by increasing awareness and understanding of Facial Palsy and its physical and psychological consequences. 1.2.2 to assist the treatment and care of persons living with Facial Palsy by the provision of information, support, education and practical advice. 1.2.3 to improve access to care by raising the profile of Facial Palsy and its consequences, through education and training of healthcare professionals, where such education and training is not normally provided by the statutory authorities. 1.2.4 to raise funds to support and sponsor research and training for healthcare professionals involved in the management and treatment of Facial Palsy, where such activities are not normally provided by the statutory authorities. 1.2.5 to be an advocate for the Facial Palsy community in the development of service provision, education and research.
