**Objectives:** The SCIO's purposes are:  1.To assist in the provision of recreational facilities (and, where appropriate, the organisation of recreational activities) available to members of the public at large, with the object of improving their conditions of life. 2.To advance public participation in sport. in particular within Symington and its environs, primarily through the establishment and operation of a multiuse sports and leisure facility in Symington, Ayrshire.
