Constitution
The Charity is a Scotkn5h Charitable Incorporated Organisation la SCIOI. It was registered on 22 August
2014. It has a Single tier structure and as such the trustees are the members of the charity-

Trustees are appointed by the current trustees on the basis of unanimous agreement. The minimum
number of trustees is three. Trustees must hold to the Statement of Faith contained within the
Constitution a5 their personal profession of faith.

Charitable purposes
The prevention and relief of poverty. the advancement of education. the advancement of the Christian
religion and the relief of those in need by reason of age. ISI he3￿h, financial hardship or other
disadvantaee. Without prejudice to the foregoing generality. the CharitWs primary area of activity is
intended to be &iuth East A513.
Activitie5
The main activities of the charity during the period were-.
the organisation and funding of theoh)gic31 training in south East Asia.
supporting the translation and publication of Christian literature for distribution to South East
Asia.
During the period the chartty raised £31.(N)3 {2024 £21.1)J41 for its general purposes.
Financial review
DonatÉons are the main source of fvnding for the charity- Incorr* from general donations exceeded
nrestrirted fund expenditure by £8,709 in the year.

The main commitments against the general fund are publication tosts. The unrestricted ftjnds reseNe
retsined at 31 August 2025 was assessed as required to meet on%oing commitments in the new year.
Plans for future perfod.
The trustee5 intend, God willing, to ttsntinue to support the training of theological students and the
publication of Christian literature for distribution in South East Asia.

I report on the accounts of the chartty for the year ended 31 August 2025 which are set out on pages
6t08.
Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner
The charitVs trustees are resporhsibleforthe preparation of the account5 in accordance with the terms
of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Act 2(K15 and the Charrcies Accounts1Scotlandl
Regulations 2006. The charity trustees considerthatthe audit requirement of Regulation 10111 Idl of
the 2006 Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts a5
required under section 44111 Icl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my
attention.
Basis of independent examinerfs statement
My examination is carried out in accordan￿ wwth Regulation 11 of the 2CQ6Actounts Regulations. An
examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or
disclosures in the accovrts and seeks exptanations from the trustees concerning any such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit. and
consequently I do not expr￿ an audit opinion on the view given by the a¢counts.
Independent examinerfs statement
In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention.
which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respett the requirements..
To keep accounting records in accordance with Sertion 44111 lal of the 2005 Art and
Regulation 4 of the 2c￿6 Accounts Regulations.
To prepare accounts which accord with the accotjnting records and comply wlth
Regulation 9 of the 20J6 Accounts Regulations
have not been met, or

to which, in my opinion. attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding
of the actounts to be reached.

l. Basis of accounting
These accounts have been prepared on the Receipts and Payments basis in accordance with the
Charities & Trustees Investment (Scotlandl Act 2C4)5 and the Charities Accounts Iscotlandl
Regulations 2006 las amended).
2. Nature arKI purpose of funds
Unrestrirted funds a￿ those that may be used at the discretion of the trustees in furtherance of
the objects of the charity. The trustees maintain a single unrestricted fund for the day-to-day
running of the charity.
Restrirted funds may only be used for specific purposes. Restrictions ar￿e when specified by the
donor or when funds are raised for specific purposes. DurirE the year the charity distributed the
restricted fund which had been held specifically for the translat￿￿ and publication of literature.
