Objectives: (1) The advancement of religion. (2) The promotion of religious or racial harmony. (3) Relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. (4) In furtherance of these purposes the Trustees shall:- a. Promote the conduct of prayer and religious ceremonies of the Muslim Sunni faith including the conduct of weddings and funerals. b. Provide a facility for children of primary school age of both the Muslim and Christian faiths within Dundee and surrounding towns through their religious education curriculum to visit the Centre and engage in education in comparative religion .. c. Promote inter-faith activities for Christian, Jewish, Sikh and other faiths within the community and to build bridges with these communities and to encourage the mutual understanding of faiths and religions. d. Provide community based activities such as ladies' market days for the surrounding community. e. Provide financial support to international disasters regardless of denomination. f. Provide financial and welfare support to disadvantaged members of the community. g. Provide practical assistance to the local community for completion of passport and residency forms, Embassy documentation including the giving of assistance to incoming students with completion of paperwork for their studies.
