**What the charity does:** Cardenden Community Development Forum is set up to carry out the action points set out in our current action plan to make Cardenden a better place to live in through the proceeds of our Community Shop and applications to grant bodies we are able to support the many voluntary groups in the village.

**Objectives:** The objectives of the Forum are: - To consult with and represent the needs and aspirations of the community and to lobby and work with private, statutory and voluntary bodies to take any action as appropriate. - To promote and develop community action. - To be a means whereby the community is able to voice opinions on local matters, which affect their lives and wellbeing. - To raise and hold money and other resources (including lease of premises) necessary for fulfilment of the above, including grant funding. - To promote well being and quality of life throughout the community area. - To do all such other lawful things as are necessary for the achievement of the objects
