trust for the year ended 31 December 2025.
Status of Charity and Governing Documenl
Brou8hty Ferry Presbyterian Church Trust is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation
(SCIO) and was registered with OSCR on 19 May 2014 (Tr40. SC044862)
Tru$tees and Le9ders
The trust¢cs are listed on page l.
Appoiniment and removal are in ￿e0rdance with the Constitution which requires that
appointment or removal is approved by resolution of not less than 75 % of the ¢xistin8
trustees. There is no maximum number of tsustees. The minimum number is three.
The trustees all have experience in that role. Suitable induction is provided for all new
TTUStees. making them aware of a tNstee's responsibilities. the Constitution and
administrative proc¢dures. A copy of th¢ previous year's annual report and accounts are also
provided along Wlth the OSCR booklet "Guidance and Good Practice for Charity Trustses"

The purpose of the trust is the advancement of the ChTlStian religion in Scotland and the
world for the public benefit through the provision of resources ￿ Christian churches and
fellowships in Broughty Ferry and elsewher¢.
Activltiu And Aehlevementj
The Trust owns the property at 343 Brook StreeL Broughty Feny, DD5 2DS and leases it to
Broughty Ferry Free Church of Scotland (fomerly Broughty Ferry Presbyterian Churoh) for
a monthly rentsl. Broughty Ferry Free chU￿h has sole use of the property.
In May 2025. and with the assistance of a loan from another charitable trusL the Tru8t
purchased the Baptist Church building at 86 Si Vincent Street. Broughty Ferry. The property
at St Vincent Street is now leased to Broughty Feffy Free Church on a long-temi basis. The
amount payable to the Trust is limited to the expenses of the Trust.
The intention is that Broughty Ferry Free Church C￿ out refurbishment of the prop¢rty, and
on ¢ompl¢tion. s¢ll the premises at Bn)ok StreeL and use this to repay the loan.

Th¢ principal funding sourc¢ for the Trust is rental for the use of the premises at 343 Brook
StreeL Broughty Ferry.
Flnancial Raults
The Trt￿t has a deficit for the year of-£703 {2024 -£80.080), which has resulted in total
funds carried forward at the end of the year of £ 10,752 (2024 £11.455). The charity Trustees
seek to maintain unrestricted reserves eq￿1 w 6 months unrestricted expenditure and have
met this resery¢ policy at th¢ end of the year.
