The trustees present their report and the financial staternents for the year ending 31st May 2025. The financial statements comply with the Charities and Trustee (Scotland) Act 2005, the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended) and theAccounting and Reporting by Charities ; Statement of Recommended Practice,

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objectives and aims To worship God the Father, to honour the name of his well beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, our Saviour and only Mediator. To obey the Holy Spirit, our guide and teacher. To edify, build up and strengthen each other as members of Christ’s body, by his truth as revealed in the Holy Scriptures, To promote Christ's kingdom by holding Evangelistic, Outreach and Prayer meetings

ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE

The Fellowship has now completed its twelve year as a church. Our stated aim was to be obedient to the word of God by gaining knowledge and understanding to allow us to act on the word and bring the gospel message to the community. This year has been a sad time for us with four of our members passing away, however thanks we give Father, for their service to the fellowship and know that they have gone home to their heavenly to One couple have left us choosing to worship tn another church and one family has left us take up a pastoral role in a church in Bellshill. We have been blessed to see growth in numbers attending with four new families now worshipping with us,

Services

We have maintained our regular programme of services with our Su nday Morning Service focusing on worship and the preaching of the word. Our main focus has been on 2 Samuel following on from followinglast year’sGod. study in 7. Samuel concentrating on the life of David learning lessons from his example in With the exception of the summer months our Evening services continued on the first and third Sunday evenings of the month with guest Speakers being drawn from a number of focal churches and groups. These services attract attendance from the community.

At our Bible Study on Thursday evenings we spent some time looking at the life of Elijah followed by a study in Paul's letterto the Hebrews. andPrayer remains a priority for the fellowship with prayer meetings being held on a Thursday evening the fellowship.Saturday mornings with the Elders meeting on a Wednesday morning to pray for the work of

A Christianity Explored course was held with five people involved at some stage in the course with two people completing the course and now worshipping with us.

Children’s Work : This year saw the re-establishment of the Sunday School. We now have a group committed to teaching : children and have a core group of four children who attend every week. We have maintained our 7 presence in Townhead Primary School participating in the monthly School Assemblies and working | alongside Scripture Union and their Bible Alive Initiative, A drama Group funded by the Coatbridge | Churches performed in Townhead and Lang loan Schools and were greatly appreciated by the staff : and pupils.

ACHIEVEMENT AND PERFORMANCE

Charitable activities - cont

Care for the elderly We and are now into our third year of holding weekly services in Deanston Care Home for a number of residents their family members who can no longer attend church. This remains well attended and has led us ta develop closer relationships with some of the elderly folks and sadly being invited to officiate at funerals.

Community Engagement The Food bank has remained open again this year with the faithful donations of food and money from the Fellowship, Tesco Fair Share and the wider community. St Ambrose, St Bartholornew’s and Townhead Primary Schools have all mada large donations this year which are greatly appreciated. The café area with tea and coffee givesrelationship usthe opportunitywith many who to get come betterin. acquainted with those who attend and we have developed a closer

The “Halp to Hope” initiative with its drop In café approach provides a regular place for individuals in the community to gettogether for a chat. This has been tnaintained this year and although the attendance fs not massive it provices an opportunity to meet with the community bath on the street and in the café’.

We have retained contact with two agencies the “Overdose Response Team” and “Teen Challenge” who provide professional advice to support those with addiction issues, Routes to work returned this year for a short period and intend to work at times in the area over the next few years.

Building Fabric

We continue to try to enhance the appearance of the building and this. year we have completed work ta install new cladding, fascia and guttering and have painted the external walls. New signage has been provided. internally the corridor has been decorated. The boundary wall was in a state of disrepair and became dangerous, as this was a party wall with our adjoining neighbour this work was carried out under. the direction of Cairn Housing Association with costs shared,

Bargeddie The church in Bargeddie ts now In its third year with two church graups continuing to meet and worship there. Lanarkshire Christian Fellowship a Christian Group of india people hold two services one in their own language and one in English in the morning and in the afternoon Bargeddie Christian Fellowship meets with a group of | local people attending. This fellowship is slowly growing and developing. We continue to provide support services until they are fully developed and constituted able to be fully independent,

This year we appointed an Outreach Coordinator to motivate the congregation to spread the gospel in their own area and circle of friends. We continue to make resources avallable to suppart this work. Leafletting has bring ongoing throughout the year in Airdrie, Coatbridge, Glenboig and Cumbernauld,

Our services are live streamed on Facebook and a number of people regularly listen in and worship with us , throughin Septemberthis medium.we were part of the Coatbridge Churches Fun Day held in West End Park. This was an amazing this event. day with an estimated attendance of 2000 people on the day. Two families came to our fellowship through Thethat Billy Graham Organisation held a Jesus Loves you tour in the Hydro and we managed to fill a free coach We was supplied by TBGO and take a number of local people to the event. FINANCIAL REVIEW

Reserves policy

Our finances remain healthy due to the sacrificial giving of the congregation and we continue to tithe 10% of our offerings to other organisations. Funds are still available from the Council Grant to carry out some structural alterations to im prove the use of the premises and assist in the proclaiming of the gospel.

Investment Policy The charity does not hold any investments, Any surplus cash flow during the year is deposited in suitable[bank][accounts.]

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS In the last half ofthe year we have taken the opportunity to prayerfully seek Gad’s leading and we await direction from God on how we are to spread the gospel in Townhead. God in this area and understand the need to be fed by the Holy Thein future of our fellowship remains in God's hands and we will continue to remain close to him prayer to understand his leading.
