The Scotti8h Alcohol Coun8811ing Consortlum Is a small membef-led organisation of counc118 on
alcohol and local, voluntsry alcohol and addlctlon 8UPPOrt agencie8. SACC members provide
alcohol and addirtions counsolling and support serylces across Scotland- in lin• with SACC'8
alms - u8lnq local volunteer8 a8 part of thelr worlrforGe.

SACC has continued to wovlde tralnlng, 88minwg, Board m8etj.ngs and other 8UPPOrt in a hybrid
fashion in 202*26 to ensure member organisations auoss Scotland have an equal thanc4 of
participation. This echaes rnost SACC member organisations who ¢ontinue to offer la￿40-faCe
as well a8 remote alcohol coun8ellirrfJ p08t-COVlD-19.
FurKling that gupported SACC'8 work ￿ring 202*25 included Scottish Govemment core
funding of £31,350 for 1 year and a grant frorn Corra Foundation.

19 participant8 8ucce88fully completed the Coun8eltsng Peoplé Toward8 Behaviour
Change courna In 2024-25 whlch was run Iwo tlm88 in a hybrid fomiat blith a mix of
wèekend and èvéning séssions. Theré was véry positive participant feedback on
content, trainer 8k1118 and partlclpant leamlng.
SACC continued to support coun8811iw 8up8rvl8ors through 518 Swjorvisors Network.
There are 26 counselling superviscys who are part of thè Network.

2024.
SACC'8 annual Report on alcohol coungelllng provlslon across SACC member
organisation8 202&24 was produced in earfy 2025. This wovided infonnalion on
counselling referrals and provision across SACC member organisation8. The alcohol
counselllng provlded by SACC member organ18atlon8 contlnue8 to play a key role

£4.157 forthe year giving cash reserves of &W(
The reserves policy is set to ensure Ihat in th8 event of a sEgnificant drop In fundi￿, they will be
able to continue the charrty's activities while additional funds are raised.
Tho Iru8tees manage th8 thailty's key risks by ensuring mitigating actions are taken to limil their
impact on rts aclivilies.

The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the Accounls in accordance with
the terms of the Charrties and Trustees Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities
Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (as amended). The charrty trustees consider th81 the
audrt ￿qUIrement of Regulation 10 (1)(d) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my
r88pollsibilrty to examine Ihe Accounts as required under Section 44 (1)(G) of the Act and to
state whether particular matters have come to my attention,

My examination is carried out In accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities A¢¢ount8
(Scotland) Regulats"ons 20C6. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept
by the charity and a comparison of the Account8 presented with th08e record8. It also includes
consideration of any unusual item8 or disclosures in the Accounts, and seeks explanations
from the tru8tees concerning any such matters. The kYo¢edures underlaken do not provide all
Ihe evidence that would be required In an audit, and consequently, I do not express an audlt
opinion on the view giver) by the accounls.

In the course of my exarnination, no rnatler has com8 to my attention:
