Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of public participation in sport','the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended','the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage'

We support the local skate scene in Palestine through a number of ways. We work with new local skateboard organisations that we have helped develop. These groups run sessions at our locations across the West Bank. We also build skateparks and are working towards our new one next year. We showcase the skatescene through putting on events, films, and fundraising activities in the UK. We also sell merchandise collaborating with artists in the region, some of which is educational and cultural (for example: language book and cook book) to give more exposure to Palestinian cultural heritage.

Objectives: The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are the advancement of public participation in sport (skateboarding) for Palestinians living on the West Bank, and the provision of free recreational facilities primarily in areas where sporting facilities are not readily available to young people, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. The secondary area of work is London, where SkatePal has its office, serving underprivileged young people in North London
