We provide support emotionally, financially and practically to families who are affected by MECP2 Duplication Syndrome, helping to reduce feelings of isolation and exclusion. We raise awareness of MECP2 Duplication Syndrome and work with other similar Charities and organisations worldwide. We promote and Support research into MECP2 Duplication Syndrome which could lead to treatments which could enhance the lives of those affected with the syndrome. A UK site is opening soon to trail a potential drug. Our Charity is growing and developing for the long term benefit of our Community. We hold Family Day Conferences for our families and they receive all the up to date information from the scientists and experts on the condition. We also provide grants and hold meet ups and fun days out to the zoo and other venues. At our meet ups, face to face support is very valuable and the families spending time together is wonderful for sharing advice, knowledge, tips and information.
