Introduction
Craigend Communlty Youth Group is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation
{SC0447611 operating in Glasgow. We seek to provide uniform and consistent youth services
across the area which meets the needs of our users and are of a high quality and which also
promote community participation and inclusion in the decision-making process which affett
their lives in Cralgend and the surrounding areas.
Governlng Document

Craigend Community Youth Group became a SCIO on 25 March 2014 and is governed by our
SCIO Constitution. We are run by a management committee who are the Trustees and
operated by a team of volunteers.
Aims & Objectives
The overarching aims of the group are;
al The advancement of citizenship or community development
bl The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with
the object of improving the conditions of the life for persons for whom the facilities or
activities are primarily intended.
The followlng objectives will be delivered to achieve the above aims
la} To support the youth of Craigend
(bl Facilitate a youth club for the youth of Craigend
Icl Encourage social inclusion with the youth of Craigend
(dl Encourage residents to take part in voluntary youth work
Actlvltles
The Youth Club and Table Tennis Club have been closed since March 2020 due to Covid-19.
This was due to lockdown and that the venue we use has been closed since March 2020.
Reserves Pollcy
The charity has a reserves fund of £1,500.00 In place. If a delay In fundlng should occur, it has
been calculated that this is the amount that would be needed to continue running for at least
3 months until funding can be secured.

I report on the accounts of the charity for the period ended March 2022 which are set out on pages 5
to8.
Respectlve responslblllties of trustees and examlner
The charitys trustees are responsiblefor the preparation of the accounts in accordance with theterms
of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotlandl Ad 2005 and the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl
Regulations 2006 las amended).
The charity trustees consider that the audit exemption requirement of regulation 10 Illldl of the
Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibilityto examine the accounts as required under
section 4411) Icl of the Act and to state whether matters have come to my attention.
Basls of Independent Examlnerfs Ststement
My examination is carried out In accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl
Regulations 2006 las amended). An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by
the charity and a comparlson of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes
consideration of any usual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeks explanations from the
trustees concerning any such matters. The procedures do not provide all the evidence that would be
required in an audit. and consequently I do not express an audit opinion of the view given by the
atcount5.

In the course of my examination, no matter has come to my attention
