To maintain and repair the this much loved local nature reserve for the benefit of local and visitors to Orkney. Volunteering, fund raising working with the Council to draw up and follow a detailed management plan. Awareness raising of the sites history, culture and importance.

Objectives: The organisation's purposes are: 1.To conserve, protect and improve the natural and cultural heritage of the area of land known as Happy Valley, to retain its ethos and uniqueness for public benefit and enjoyment. 2.To preserve, sustainably, the natural, man-made and cultural history of this area for the advancement of education of the local and visiting population. 3. To promote the care of the trees, plants and wildlife of the area and the responsible and sustainable use of this bio diverse environment, the woodland and other habitats on the land.
