It was registered in its current legal form on 24 February 2014. The charity was previously an unincorporated association but changed its legal form to a SCIO. The assets of the unincorporated association were transferred to the SCIO on 1 March 2014. It has a single tier structure and as such the trustees are members of the charity. ## **Objectives and Activities** The Charity works mostly within the Shanghai, PRC and surrounding areas of China and the objectives of the charity are: - the relief of poverty; and - the advancement of education; and - the advancement of citizenship and community development: and - the relief of those in need, by means of disability. ## **Remuneration of Trustees** The Trustees received no remuneration in either the current or previous financial year. In addition, no Trustee received any reimbursement for expenditure incurred in relation to the charity’s activities. ## **Principal Address** The address of the principal office is ## **Trustees** The Trustees during the year were as follows:- The appointment of new Trustees is at the discretion of the current Trustees. In the event of new Trustees being appointed they will be provided with information about the SCIO’s purposes when they are appointed. ## **Reserves** It is the SCIO’s aim to ensure that a balance is maintained in general unrestricted reserves held in cash which equates to at least 3-6 months worth of operating costs. At the year end, the combined balance of the general reserve represented more than 12 months worth of operating costs. The Trustees are satisfied that this is an acceptable position. 3 MIFAN MAMA TRUSTEES. REPORT continued Achievements and perforniance While this reporting period has once again been quiet as far as donations go. we have recently appointed new Trustees lo assist Mrfan Mama continue their work to supwt and apj those in need in both Shanghai and in surrounding mountain areas. We donated this year to the Fu Hai Education Foundation Library proiecL The vision for the Fu Hui A Yi Library is to eryower the children of Liangshan lo shape their fuiures through knowledge and creativty. Since 2022, Fu Hui has established nine A Yi kn'braries, starting in Xichang City, Liangshan. These libraries serve th[1d￿n of migrant workets, self-relocaled hwseholds. and "left-behind. rural children, providing both material support and a nurturing environment. Each library is Staffed by a librarian. We did nol meet our planned goals for last ye¥ where Intenti￿ wa$ to extend our charitable supwt out wrth China. In the ¢oming year we hope to change that and woth in other gbbal regions.
