Westenders Drama Group performed exceptionallywell in 2023, with a staged
performance of Cinderella in December 2023. Although ticket sales were not as strong
as sales in 2022. expenses for the show were minimal and this resulted in a larger profit.
Expenses forthe show amounted to £180.67, and income from ticket sales, as well as
hiring out the lights to another group on two occasions, generated income of £1,074.20.
resulting in a profit of£893.53 atyear end.
The group is currently in a very healthy position. Although the current premises the
group is using has now been closed as a community space, the group has managed to
secure a new home and as a result is in a viable position to continue activities for the
foreseeable future.
