Financial performance
Vision Again Foundation financial performance was highly successful for the year under review, as we did meet our goals in terms of financial status as we planned. We closed the year with a financial surplus xxxxxxxx and our plan is to continue having a good budget and fundraising strategy in place.
The primary areas of fundraising were, Community Events and Bazaars, Can Collection via Retail Stores and Social media campaigns and this year a fundraising dinner .
Plans for future periods
The Trustees continue to assess major risks, particularly those related to operations and finances, and strive to strengthen its Financial Internal Control systems to mitigate all major risks.
The Board as planned hopes to build its diagnostic centre and start delivering services in the financial year 2025-26. To increase Vision Again Foundations awareness through community events. Whilst other plans to raise more funds for the organisation in order to deliver the good work that is ongoing and widen the services to reach and touch more people in the community.
Further there are plans for financial year 2026-27 to raise funds for an income generation project to provide the charity with regular income which would either pay for 60% of the existing annual costs of work or allows the charity to increase its work by the same percentage point.
