Hope Church Borders Report 2024–2025 We aim to relieve poverty and advance education within Christian principles. Our vision: Making God famous—in life, as church family, as we go. We see a church where all belong, excited about Jesus, raising the next generation, and multiplying worship gatherings across the Borders. Values: Prayer first, enjoying grace, being family, giving generously, building with team, pioneering. Highlights: Attendance up 18% (300 total. 115 youth). 15 Life Mission Groups. new gathering in Newtown St Boswells (45+). Team Leader events (45 participants). youth ministry (50+ engaged, 10 trained helpers). new Worship Co-ordinator. 10 trained in tech/music. web app launched (5,900 visits). community work: Thrive (100 carers, 80 children), CMA (10 families), Galashiels Drop-In (70), Green Hope (30+), Allotment (15–20), Little Green Wardrobe (150 families).

Objectives: The purposes of the Trust are to advance Christianity in Scotland and elsewhere by any means or medium that is or may become available in accordance with the Statement of Doctrines set out in the Schedule hereto and in furtherance thereof but not otherwise:- (a) To relieve poverty and those who are in need because of sickness or age or some other reason. (b) To advance education both general and vocational for children or adults but always within the principles of the Christian faith. (c) To promote such other charitable objects as the Trustees shall from time to time consider appropriate or ancillary to the principal purposes of the Trust, inter alia working with children, young people, adults, the elderly, those deemed vulnerable and short term overseas mission projects.
