The Foundation becarne a charrty on 31 December 2013. STRucfuRE The Structure, incorporated in the Silver Rock Foundation ISCIOI consts'tution. consists of a Board of Charity Trustees. RECRUtTMENT AND APPOINTMENT OFTRUSTEES At each AGM all of the trustees must retlTe from office but rnay offer themselves for re-election. For new trustees there is an induction process to ensure thev are familiar wrth and understand the charity's governing document. OBJEcfs OF THE CHARITY The principal objects are- lil the relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, disability or other disadvantage. Iiil the advancement of education, arts, heritage and culture for children and young people in particular in the performing and creative arts. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE The charity had a relatively quiet year but planning continued for future projects. The charity assisted a number of I￿al or8anisations. mainly involving young people. FINANCE The charity holds sufficieni funds for rts current requirernents. Respective responsibilities of trustees and examiner The charity's tiustees (who are also the directors of the comparsy for the purposes of charity lawl are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment Iscotlandl Act 2￿5 and the Charities Accounts Iscotlandl Regulatior15 2006 la5 amended). The charity trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation Iollllal to Icl of the 2CQ6 Accounts Regulations do not apply. It is my responsibility to examine the accounts as required under section 44llllcl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basis of independent examiner's ststement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts IScotlandlRegulations2006. An examination includes review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also Includes consideration of anv unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanation5 from the truslees concerning such matters.
