It seeks to safeguard the welfare of all people, regardless of age, who comes into contact with the Church and its organisations. It is the responsibility of each individual within the fellowship of the Church to prevent the physical, sexual, or emotional abuse of children, young people and vulnerable people. Our vision is to partner with parents, family members and the church body in persisting a deep- seated desire to, love Christ, live for Christ, and lead others to Christ. Therefore we aim to continue fulfilling our purposes by strengthening the organisation and ensure it meets its responsibility. We will have Volunteers who will coordinate with the Principal concerning work plans. Generally, volunteers will serve on alternate Sunday afternoon, Ensure GLWCI is effective at child and vulnerable adult’s protection committees, Work towards framework for standards. Promote standardisation and consistency of child protection practice through policies and procedures.
