Africa on the Ball is a Scottish-registered charity that leverages the universal appeal of football to drive positive change in deprived communities in Africa, particularly in Kalingalinga, a township in Lusaka, Zambia. Our mission is to empower communities to live full, healthy, and sustainable lives by addressing key areas such as education, health, and economic development through the medium of sport.

Objectives: 4.1 The prevention and relief of poverty through the provision and delivery of services and opportunities including but not limited to food programmes, employment, access to education or vocational training. 4.2 The advancement of education through subsidy of school fees and delivery of educational workshops. 4.3 The advancement of public participation in sport through the delivery of sporting and recreational activities. 4.4 The advancement of health, by delivering services and activities to empower individuals and communities to live healthy lives, with particular attention but not limited to the prevention of HIV & AIDS and support for those already affected. 4.5 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life of communities. 4.6 The advancement of citizenship and community development by encouraging and supporting personal development and fulfilment of potential, promoting the advancement of personal skills such as motivation, leadership and team work
