For the year ended 31 August 2025.
I report on the financial statements of Cathures for the year ended 31 August
2025.
Respective Responsibilities of Trustees and Examiner
The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance vlith the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investment {Scotland)
Act 2005 and of the Charities A{￿untS (Scot]and) Regulations 2006.
The charity's trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 1011)
(a) to (c) of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility to
examine the accounts as required under seth'on 44(1) (c) of the 2005 Act and
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.

My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the
Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006. An examination Includes a
review of the accounting records kept by the chanty and a comparison of the
acLounts presented with those records. It also indude8 consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the a¢￿)Unt8, and seeks explanations from the
trustees con￿mIng any such matters. The procedures undertaken do not
provide all the evidence that would be required in an audit, and consequently I
do not express an audit opinion on the view given by the accounts.

In the course of my examination, no matter has ￿rne to my attention.
1. which gives me reasonable cause to believe Ihat in any material respect
the requirements..
to keep accounting records in accordance with Section 44 (1) (a) of the
2005 Act and Regulation 4 of the 2006 Accounts Regulats"ons, and
to prepare a¢xounts which accord with the accounting records and
comply with Regulation 8 of the 2006 Accounts Regulations
have not been met, or
2. to which, in my opinion, 8ttention should be drawn in order to enable a
proper understsnding of the accounts lo be reached.

The choir presented five 5u¢¢wful concens during th¢ y¢8r, two * our norn)al venu¢ of Kelvinside Hilihead Church, one at Dunlop
Kirk, one at Eaglesham Parish Church Guild, and a major con¢¢rt at Si Bn"de's Episcop￿ chU￿h in Hyndland. Audiences are always
encOUrJg￿ to join the choir for refreshments after each CODcerL and at the Kelvillside Hilihead Christinas concert the mulled wine
and millce pies prov¢d to k very p)pular. Aclive feedback is always encourdgryi and Meeting the audience after our con¢¢rts
provid¢s 8Tnple opp(HThDity for this. Ai our spring concert w¢ presented Faure's Requiem and Philip Stopford's Missa Deus
Nobiscum. Ex)th of which woved io be Very EK)pular. We have histori￿]lY mostly wfornied A Cappelia on this occasion. we were
ac¢oTnpaThied by the organ. Ev¢ryoDe seemed io enjoy th¢ oc￿10n. The summef concert in Kelvinside Hillhead Church was bos¢d
round the th¢m¢ of the windows tn the chU￿h ond formed F*rt of the W¢*Fea femival. We also sang a 5¢rvic¢ in Gl&sgow Cathedral
in August when the resident choir was on holiday.
