Activities

'It carries out activities or services itself'

'the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science'

The charity is a chamber choir. We have a membership of a maximum of 20, and we sing a wide variety of music from all eras. We meet once a week for rehearsal, and generally perform 3 concerts a year. These comprise a carol concert at Christmas time, a more serious presentation in March, and we take part in the West End Festival in June when we tend to perform a lighter programme. In addition we occasionally add extra performances away from our usual venue of Kelvinside Hillhead church in order to bring our music to a wider public. We also like to meet our our audiences and so provide refreshments after our main concerts.

Beneficiaries: 'No specific group, or for the benefit of the community'

Objectives: The object of the Society shall be to advance, improve, develop and maintain public education in, and appreciation of, the art and science of chamber choral music in all its aspects by the presentations of public concerts. and for the general purposes of such charitable bodies or for such other purposes as shall be exclusively charitable as the Committee may from time to time decide.
