Trust&esAnnualReport2Q24
2024 was 8 tniisitional yearforthe CVA as after the AGM in March the whole committee
was replaced with the exception of
who remained
sponsible for memberships primarily and also maintenonce and upkeep of the villoge
hall.
The new committee focused init18lly on ensuring the transitlonal period went smoothly
before starting to explore and implement new Ide8s. A lot of time w85 invested in
updating and redoing the website and social niedia plattorms and in partlcular to
include the ability to take payments online for memberships, hall hire and events etc.
There was also a significant CVA branded marquee purchase for use Bt events
throughout the year and also investment in the Christmas display. Both of these are
designed to provide long term solutions to the village. These are the 2 main factors in
the increase in expenditure from 2023 to 2024.
Income also increased significantly from 2023 to 2024 across all income streams and
hopefully the more streamlined processes introduced and increased social media
presence will see regular income from subscriptions, hall hire and events in particular
continue to trend upwards.
We have also explored new fund raising opportunities alongside the regular events to
ensure the future of the CVA and further investment in improvements for the vlllage.
We continue to be accountable and responsible to the members of the CVA and act in
