Provide 42 allotments, 23 starter plots and poly tunnel spaces for cultivation. We have community areas for anyone to walk around, sit or use picnic tables. The site is maintained and improved through well supported regular workdays. We encourage water collection, composting and recycling. A “cuppa and cake” times on the workdays sees people chatting and sharing of knowledge and providing mutual support. We have set up relationships with several local charities and services including The Kinross Centre, Broke Not Broken and Causeway Court. They received allotment produce from the community garden through the summer and autumn. We are members of Social Farms & Gardens network, and we send out a monthly newsletter to all members. We held a number of events for members and guests, hosted school party interested in setting up school garden, sold plants at two farmers markets locally and community engagement at the PKCC Living Well fair.
