We are a focal point for the community for holding events to promote social interaction e.g. village barbecue, quiz night. We raise money from such events and use this to improve local amenities, such as pathways and we support the local Primary School.

Objectives: 4.1. To promote the well-being and safeguard the interests of the community and residents in Oyne and District irrespective of age or gender arid without distinction to religious: political or other views. 4.2. To liaise with local statutory authorities, voluntary organisations. and residents over matters of interest concerning Oyne and District with the objectives of maintaining' and improving the local environment and conditions of life for the local community. 4.3. To promote social, cultural, educational, recreational and leisure activities for the benefit of the people of Oyne and District. 4.4. To foster a community spirit for the achievement of these and any other such objects as may by lay be deemed charitable.
