Respectlve responslbllltles of trustees and examiner The charity's trustees are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the terms of the Charities and Trustee Investrnent (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Charities Accounts Iscotland) Regulations 2006. The charity trusteÈs consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10111 Id} of the Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my respor6ibility to examine the accounts as required under section Ulll Icl of the Act and to state whether particular matters have come to my attention. Basls ol Independent examlnerfs statement My examination is carried out in accordance with Regulation 11 of the Charities Accounts (Scotlandl Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts, and seeks explanations from the trustees concerning any such matters. Carsphairn Community Trust SC044308 Convenorfs Report th AGM 9 December 2025 For Year: I" April 2024 - 31" March 2025 Carsphairn Community Trust Extra-curricular grant scheme This continues to run for school aged children residing in Carsphairn community using funds awarded from CREFL (£8,000), and all successful applicants received payment by June 2024. Community hydro scheme being researched and costed. Development Officer New development officer started work during April 2024 for a three year contract, employed by the trust and working on behalf of both Trust and Carsphairn Community Woodland. To mainly develop projects and assist the community. Development officer was task to work on a application for CREFL funding to secure community transport. CCT joined the community transport association which can give support and advice on community transport. Development offi'cer handed in her resignation end of March 2025, Carsphairn Community Trust Help Group The group continued to help members of Carsphairn Community throughout the year, as required, including medical appointments, prescription collections, shopping and transport. Recreation Group Social mornings have continued in the hall throughout the year on a Monday morning for social / games interaction also providing hot soup and beverages. Soup recipe booklet was printed from members of the Monday Morning Social group and will be going on sale to raise funds for local charities. Social event day was held in Lagwyne Hall on the I" January 2025, which was a big success and enjoyed by everybody Calendars 2025 Carsphairn Calendars were produced and delivered free to all residential homes within our community. Surplus calendars were sold, with proceeds again donated to charity. Community transport: The Trust continued to look into the possibility of securing ownership of a minibus for use as community transport. Property Glenr05a Front wall rendering was undertaken and painted, the front door and porch windows were renewed and all external woodwork was painted to keep the property in good order. Property tenant dissapeared winter 24/25 leaving belonging in situ, rent continued to be paid.
Olrig Olrig property was purchased with funding from CREFL in September 2024 , CREFL monies awarded was £124,134.00 which included funds to carry out remedial repairs. Several carpets were renewed in Olrig prior to a new tenant being found alon8 With remedial works carried out. Date: 09112/25
