Basis of preparing th• flnancial statements
The finanelal slalemenls of the charity, which is a public benefi't enlily under FRS 102. have
been prepafed in accordance with the Charitie5 SORP IFRS 1021 'Accounling and RepDrting
by Charities.. Slalemenl of Recommended Practice applicable lo charities preparing their
accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Sland8rd applicable in the UK and
Republic of Ireland {FRS 102) leffeclive 1 January 20191,, Financial Reporting Standard 102
'The Financial Reporting Standard appli¢able in the UK and Republic of Ireland, and the
Chariliey and Trustee Investment IS¢ollandl Act 2005. The financial slalemenls have been
prepared under the historical cost convention.
Income
All in¢ome is re¢ognised in the Statement ol Flnancial Actlvilles once the charSty has enlillemenl
lo the funds, il is probable that Ihe income will be received, and the amount Ban be measured
reliably.

Liabilities are recognised as expendllure as sotsn as there is a legal or con$tnJcllve obligation

Expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings that

The charity's trustees are responslble for the prepar8llon of the accounts in accordance with the torms
of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scollandl 2005 A¢1 and the Chaiilies Accounts IS¢ollandl
Regulations 2008. The charily trustees consider that the audit requirement of Regulation 10111 Id) DI
ihe Accounts Regulations does not apply. It is my responsibility lo examine the aocounls as required
under section 44111 lel of the Acl and lo state whether particular mallèrs have come lo my attention.

My examination is carrled out in accordance with RegulatSon 11 of the Charities A￿oUntS Iscollandl
Regulations 2006. An examination includes a review of the a¢¢ounling records kept by the charity and
a oomparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also include8 consideration of any
unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seek5 explanations from the Iruslees concerning any
such mallers. The procedures undertaken do not provide all tho evidence that would be required in an
audit and, consequently, I do nr)l express an audit oplnion on Ihe accounts.
