The trustees have a wide discretion to benefit any charitable purposes which they consider appropriate from time to time.

Objectives: For payment of the whole or such part of the free income and the whole or such part of the capital of the Trust Estate as the Trustees may from time to time consider desirable for such charitable purposes to such charitable institutions, or such societies, foundations, organisations, representative bodies, funds or benevolent bodies as the Trustees may in their absolute discretion select and, without prejudice to the discretion of the Trustees, it is my wish that the Trust Estate be used in supporting bodies with the following purposes:- A. Advancement of health. B. Advancement of education, research and training. C. Advancement of religion. D. The saving of lives. E. The advancement of community development within the Grampian Area. and F. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for persons within the Grampian Area
