**What the charity does:** To advance education in the arts, advance citizenship and community development and to advance arts, heritage and culture. This is achieved by providing space for artists and hosting events.

**Objectives:** 1. To advance education and advance the arts (by means other than solely education) by promoting, maintaining and improving the following: a) public exhibitions of the work of artists with both emerging and established reputations in a variety of media  b) interpretational materials, initiatives and events which provide audiences of all ages, backgrounds and knowledge levels with the tools to access art and creative industries for themselves. to encourage questions and support debate about the same.  c) books and information in electronic media to extend the reach of the organisation&#x27;s creative activity and encourage greater understanding of the arts. d) integrated programmes that bring artists and audiences together with the ambition of appealing to as wide a range of audiences as possible.  e) dedicated facilities to the advancement of education where participants of all ages, backgrounds and knowledge levels can engage in artistic and creative activity to personal, group and community benefit f) facilities for artists and persons involved in creative industries to be trained including where possible persons disadvantaged by social, economic or physical circumstances 2. To advance citizenship or community development through: a) encouraging voluntary activity and increasing the involvement of individuals in community activity  b) helping voluntary organisations, charities and social enterprises build up their skills by engaging with creative activities c) contributing to the diversity of influence to the community by providing a cultural facility 3. To advance the arts, heritage and culture through a) providing arts facilities and encouraging high standards in the arts b) advancing heritage and the preservation of an historic building by utilising the decommissioned Fire Station, Carnegie Drive, KY12 7AN, category B listed by Historic Scotland.
