Steps were taken to mothball our programmes as follows: • Exceptional Our Exceptional programme identifies talented state school pupils and provides experiences designed to raise self-confidence, aspirations and skills. We maintained the charity's links with the legal sector, and continued to advise individual students who have joined the programme. • Impressive Former Pupils We updated successful former pupils we have identified as role models, of the need to suspend our activities until schools are in a position to engage once again. Financial review
Brief statement of the charity’s policy
on reserves
Details of any deficit
Donated facilities and services (if any)
In this financial period, the charity had no staff, assets or
financial liabilities. The trustees accept that as and when the
charity grows, it will need to determine its policy on
reserves to cover running costs in the event of a major
problem. This policy will be finalised at the appropriate time in
light of the prevailing conditions.
For this period, the R&P accounts show no income or
expenditure as schools were not yet placed to engage with
external projects due to the continuing impact of Covid-19 and
the 'catch-up' required to help students reach the desired
standards.
Premises, IT equipment and office supplies, along with some
general costs (e,g. subscriptions, software, domain renewals,
website hosting, etc.) were funded by the charity's founder,
This will continue until the charity is in a
position to generate funds to cover such costs.
