**Friends of Forth Valley First Responders SC044193 Trustee Report Period 01/04/2024 to 31/03/2025** 


We continue to support the Responder Group, supplying uniform and equipment as required. 

The group took on some new responders and currently have 20. The group continue to provide support for the Scottish Ambulance Service in responding to 999 Calls. 

In 2023 the group in support of 999 calls, carried out 2240 hours and responded to 554 calls. 

We continued with the PAD initiative, helping to place PADs in the Forth Valley Community. 2024 saw us help place 29 PADs within the community. We also placed 6 in Police Response Vehicles. 

For the PADs that we manage (98) they were deployed 100 times, being used 4 times. 

The Responder Group has also been providing CPR/Defibrillator training for the community groups. 

The group saw two members receive awards this year, one for NHS Volunteer of the year, the second for St Andrews First Aid, Community First Aid Champion of the Year . 

The Trustees can confirm that they are satisfied the charity has spent its funds in accordance with the mandate from the Charity Constitution and we can confirm that the charity has operated within its overall remit in the ever continuing challenging times.
