To advance skills and capacity by training and supporting conservationists, ecologists and researchers across Africa, to strengthen local expertise in wildlife conservation and habitat management. 4.5. To advance community development by supporting sustainable livelihood approaches that contribute to poverty alleviation while safeguarding ecosystems and biodiversity. 4.6. To advance animal welfare by changing attitudes towards human-wildlife interactions and engaging with and providing training to vets and wildlife rescue centres to support bat rehabilitation. 4.7.
